Our Accredited Drug Testing Services

Safework Health’s experienced team of Collectors can perform oral fluid drug testing following the Australian Standards at your workplace 24/7.

Safework Health holds Section 2 accreditation for AS/ZNZS 4760:2019 and our Collectors hold HLTPAT005 Collect specimens for drugs of abuse testing (or equivalent) qualifications. As part of our NATA accreditation, our Collectors undergo regular competency checks and training as required.

Our preferred oral fluid drug testing device is the ToxWipe 7. A NATA-accredited laboratory has independently verified this device to the current oral fluid Standard (AS/NZS 4760:2019), which means it’s fit for purpose under the Standard. The ToxWipe 7 effectively detects various drugs, including amphetamine, opiates, cocaine, methamphetamine, MDMA, benzodiazepines, oxycodone, and marijuana (THC).

We have NATA-accredited laboratories and confirm all onsite non-negative samples following AS/NZS 4760:2019 processes, procedures, and cut-offs.

Oral Fluid Drug Testing Devices

Safework Health can provide the ToxWipe 7 for your workplace oral fluid drug testing needs. The device has been independently verified to AS/NZS 4760:2019.

The ToxWipe 7 has been investigated for all drugs as per the Australian Standard, including benzodiazepines, and meets all the new Standard’s performance criteria. Benzodiazepines are not included in AS/NZS 4760:2019 but are included on the ToxWipe 7 as some industries require this drug class to be tested under relevant legislation. Other companies are worried about the effect of benzodiazepines and would also like to test for this drug class.

The six drugs listed in AS/NZS 4760:2019 plus benzodiazepines were investigated, and the ToxWipe 7 was confirmed to meet the performance claims. This means the device is considered “fit for purpose” for onsite oral fluid testing following AS/NZS 4760:2019.
