Course Content
This breathalyser training course is designed to educate participants on the correct and proper use of an Australian Standard-compliant alcohol breathalyser to conduct breath alcohol testing in the workplace.
This course can be tailored to the handheld breathalyser devices currently used in your workplace.
Why is training required?
Companies may choose to undertake breath alcohol testing on their workers internally. In this instance, it is often a company requirement that training and a certificate of completion are needed to perform alcohol breathalyser testing. Training provides confidence, not just to the company and senior management, but to all workers being tested that the device is being used appropriately.
Using a breathalyser may be considered straightforward, however, it is important for users to understand the correct procedures and use of the unit in compliance with Australian Standard AS 3547:2019.
